These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website at https://www.mutuoil.com/en. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Using this website indicates that you accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us or order from us.

  1. These general terms and conditions govern all contracts, supplies and other services agreed between the customer and Mutuoil.
  2. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the general conditions.
  3. You will be able to access most areas of this website without registering your details with us. Certain areas of this website are only open to you if you register.
  4. We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating this posting. You should check this website from time to time to review the then current terms and conditions, because they are binding on you.
  1. The contract price is the current price at the moment when an order is placed with the webstore. The prices of articles are quoted inclusive of VAT.
  2. The prices quoted in the webstore are exclusive of postage/packing, carriage/insurance and other relevant costs. the appropriate rates are set out in our specified pricing structure shown elsewhere on this website
  3. Our prices are reviewed periodically and will be updated from time to time.
  1. By ordering via our online checkout process, we shall send you an order confirmation, detailing the products and the delivery address entered.
  2. Our acceptance of an order takes place when we dispatch the order. When we dispatch the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately upon your placement of the order, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order in accordance with Condition 4.
  3. We may refuse to accept an order:
    • if goods are not available;
    • if we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
    • if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.
  4. Mutuoil shall act with the greatest possible care in processing orders for articles. Articles shall be delivered to the address given by the customer to Scotch & Soda.Mutuoil will not be held liable for any loss caused by you entering your address incorrectly into the website or by you failing to be present at your nominated delivery address when the courier attempts to deliver the parcel. If you are not present on delivery, then the item will be returned to the depot. It is your responsibility to collect the item from the depot within the time period stated by the courier. If not, then the parcel will be returned to us. The couriers will charge for returning the items to us, and we will pass this charge onto you as a result.
  5. Mutuoil shall dispatch accepted orders as quickly as possible in the order in which they are received. The webstore delivery timescales are estimates only and should only be used as guidance.The vast majority of our orders do arrive within these timescales, however, we would ask that you wait 3 (for Express orders) or 5 (for Standard orders) working days past the last estimate day before contacting us should your parcel not arrive within the delivery estimate timescale.
  6. In the event that your order does not arrive, you must inform us within 15 days of the last estimated delivery date. The last estimated delivery date can be found in your account area and your order confirmation emails. Failure to report missing items within 30 days of the last estimated delivery date may result in us being unable to investigate missing orders with our couriers. In the event that your order arrives damaged, you must inform us within 7 days of receiving your order.
  1. The customer may pay either by credit card or Paypal.
  2. All payments must be made in accordance with the instructions given on the pages of the webstore.
  1. The customer is responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from Mutuoil, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside the European Union may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country.
  2. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; Mutuoil has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. You may contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.
  1. If you wish to cancel your order:
    1. you may notify us by email to contact@mutuoil.com before we have dispatched the goods to you;
    2. or where goods have already been dispatched to you, you may return goods to us in accordance with Condition.
  2. You are entitled to return goods you have ordered from us for any reason (except as outlined in Condition 4 below) at any time within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. Please note that we will not refund the shipping cost for the returned articles. We recommend you obtain proof of posting. If you require goods in exchange for those you have returned, then you will be required to pay the additional postage and packaging associated with the dispatch of the goods before we send the goods to you.
  3. Upon receipt of the returned goods we will issue to you a refund for the full value of the returned goods, or a credit note in the event that you wish to exchange the returned goods for others. Please note that we will not refund to you any postage and packaging associated with the dispatch of your original order of the returned goods. Where free delivery has been offered with the order then there will be a charge at the standard rate of delivery applied. The current pricing can be found on our delivery details page. We are unable to refund any import duty that has been paid.
  4. The rights to return the goods to us as referred to in 2 and 3 above will not apply in the event that the product has been used, or if any seal on the packaging for the product has been broken, upon return to us. The return must include the original packaging. The provisions of Condition 4.4 do not affect your statutory rights. Our returns address is as follows: Mutuoil 320 rue St Honore Paris – France.
  1. If we deliver an article different from the one ordered, or if the article is damaged or defective, the customer must notify Mutuoil of this as soon as possible, in the way specified on the packing slip enclosed with the article. We shall reimburse the purchase price plus postage charge.
  2. If a customer wishes to exchange or return an article, it must follow the instructions specified on the packing slip enclosed with the article.

  4. The e-mail message must contain the customer’s name, e-mail address corresponding with that in Mutuoil’s records, the order number included in the order confirmation and the article number.
